Electro-alt-rockers MUTEMATH have done it yet again. After a fantastic self-titled debut album in 2006, the four piece with a crazy musical stylings have today announced the full track listing, album artwork, and even a preview of a brand new song from their sophomore record, ARMISTICE.
New track THE NERVE (the first of the album) kicks straight into the action, as is expected, with a sweet guitar riff from Greg Hill and thumping drums from legendary Darren King, a solid bass line from Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas, and then launches into a musical whirlwind of lyrics from the Sting-like Paul Meany.
Meany has previously said “Our goal is to embarrass the first record, that’s what we’re trying to do here, and I think we’re on point to pull it off”, and I think this superb first track is a great sign of things to come on August 18th this year.
