Electro-alt-rockers MUTEMATH have done it yet again. After a fantastic self-titled debut album in 2006, the four piece with a crazy musical stylings have today announced the full track listing, album artwork, and even a preview of a brand new song from their sophomore record, ARMISTICE.

New track THE NERVE (the first of the album) kicks straight into the action, as is expected, with a sweet guitar riff from Greg Hill and thumping drums from legendary Darren King, a solid bass line from Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas, and then launches into a musical whirlwind of lyrics from the Sting-like Paul Meany.

Meany has previously said “Our goal is to embarrass the first record, that’s what we’re trying to do here, and I think we’re on point to pull it off”, and I think this superb first track is a great sign of things to come on August 18th this year. Keep an eye out on mutemath.com for more news closer to the time and check the new song at mutemath.com/armistice
